The English Beat
The Beat, known in the United States as The English Beat (and the British Beat in Australia and New Zealand) in order to avoid confusion with Paul Collins' band of the same name, was a popular Two Tone ska and pop music group. Formed in the English city of Birmingham in 1978, The Beat disbanded in 1983, but has reformed in the early 2000s with some of the original line-up. One of the more popular and enduring groups of a short-lived trend, The Beat released three albums: "I Just Can't Stop It" (1980)

Goo!... Gen!... Haum... Yeah! (Feat. Enid)
A web of sounds where the energy of Funk, Soul, and Hip Hop meet with electronic music as an invitation to let yourself be carried away by the rhythm and mantra generated by the melody.more

Surfeala Toda
After having toured "Selva Mental" ("Mental Jungle"), my first E.P. as Buxus El BeatMaker, I found the path that brought me to new shores. So standing on this new shore, facing an unknown but more than tempting ocean, I face the wave that comes. From there I propose and I propose to all the people who feel the same, that if the wave comes... Surf it all! (in Spanish: Surfeala Toda!) In "Surfeala Todo" I used sounds from classical instruments such as the piano, with which I played my own melodies and then manipulated the notes from the MIDI and playing with the equalization, and from that, build my own samples, played by me, using some filters to simulate that sound that provides the turntable or an Akai MPC. I hope you enjoy this hip-hop and futuristic funk instrumental as much as I enjoyed composing and producing it in my Home Studio.more

Crece Natural
This song came out of a jam session with myself... Hahaha... All the sequences and beats came out one after the other. The parties finished coming together while recording the video that appears on the TV in the background. That's partly why it's called "Grow Natural." Although the name came to my mind (exactly) thinking about the natural way in which curls grow... at least mine!
